a crochet ipad mini sleeve

I have never really been interested in ipads. To me they made sense for people with desktops, but I have a power book. Anyway since I have started going to gym again I have been finding myself wishing I had one so that I could watch shows while I am on the machines. I am sure this has a lot to do with my total addiction to Downton Abbey, have you watched it yet?!

So I recently sold my first SLR camera to the lovely Nicole of Rose Runs Wild, I can't wait to see what she is going to do with it! Because of that I was able to treat myself with this new little toy. I first thought the mini would be too small for me, but after going to store and trying the regular ipad out and the mini side by side I realized that I liked the mini much more. It is a lot more comfortable to hold, super light, and the screen is the perfect size for internet browsing, blog reading, show watching, and my favorite feature of it---reading magazines!

I have a hard case coming in the mail but I wanted something that I could cover the screen up with when I want to throw it in my bag. I love this pastel color scheme that I used, it is similar to this Jonna cowl, that you can pick up ready to ship in my instagram shop! These little sleeves are really fun to make, they might be a new addition to the shop...if I ever open back up!

I have a Kindle Fire & even though I do have a hard case for it, I would love to have one like this too! Such cute colors! Thanks for the inspiration!

The case is so pretty! You have an eye for beautiful colour combinations. The iPad has been on my wish list for a while now. Maybe one of these days I'll splurge and actually buy it. It's nice to treat yourself once in a while.
