fabric really does add up but I love that you found a frugal alternative! that sheet is so lovely as a skirt, glad it got a new home in a better use. so great you're putting the machine to good use and AMAZING job on your first skirt!! love your outfit paired w the simple denim blouse & the scarf is gorgeous - is another manzanita gem? Hope your week is off to a great start!

Hope they are better priced for you. I have them in price range order from least expensive to more.

It is nice to see this skirt on you since I saw the sneak peak of it on your instagram!! It is quite lovely!! Yey!! Your story of sewing is like mine . . .I got frustrated easily with doing it and would just shove it back in my closet and use it from time to time, but now I plan on using it more often since I enjoyed making the dress I made a couple weeks ago. Yey! Hope you do more too!

I am SO excited for you! You are already doing a spectacular job! Welcome to wondrous world of sewing! The possibilities are endless! Yes, expensive, but in no time you find yourself with piles of fabrics and sheets and the like to work with.

Maybe soon you will start posting tutorials and such for me to follow, cause I am sure you will surpass my abilities in no time!
