Well here I go I am addicted! I know I am a bit late to lomography train but man I am in love! After shooting with my Holga for a few days I started researching plastic cameras to see what I would buy next, and the diana mini was at the top of my list.
While I was getting some film developed at my local camera shop I spotted this little lady on display behind the counter. After dorking out with the girl who developed my film about toy cameras I splurged and got it with some of my bday mula, am I the only 27 year old adult who still gets birthday money from their grandmother?
Here are some images from my first roll. This was very much a test run, for most of them I wasn't advancing the film enough so I got alot more double exposures than desired.
Overall though I love this little lady! It is so tiny and when using the taller frame you can get up to 72 photos from one roll. This is a huge plus as with the holga you would typically only get 12.
I know a few of you have told me you have the diana mini, I would love to see some of your images! If you would be so kind as to link to them in the comments I would be so appreciative. And, of course if you have any tips or pointers I would love to hear them!
I am scheduling this post for the morning, so by the time you read this Dustin and I should be headed into the mountains for my bday weekend to celebrate by wine tasting, taking billions of photos, hiking, and eating good food. So excited! Happy Friday everyone!

These are awesome!! Love the double-exposures, too. :) I took 10 rolls of diana mini film this summer - I just posted a few shots from my first roll & will be allll month. I found that the photos I took that weren't double-exposed were *much* darker than I thought, and that 100 speed film was the best for plain ol sunny days, despite what I heard about 200 for sunny days... :) I'm still learning myself, though!
