Dustin and I have been planning a day trip with Isaiah for months. I am one of eight kids and if I know anything its that kids in a big family need some good old fashioned one on one time every once in a while.
Isaiah is my eight year old brother and he loves science, building things, and animals especially lizards and snakes. The Natural History museum in denver was having a snakes and lizards exhibit so we decided to bring him to see it.
This kid is a freeking genius, he knew all the names of every type of lizard and snake before we got close enough to even read the signs. He really has amazing retention for a little kid.
One of the best parts of having my family move to Boulder is that we get to do things like this. I like that D and I get to take the little ones out, no only because it is great to hang out with them, but because it is nice to sort of practice having little ones together.
