watermelon juice

Watermelon juice is one of the most delicious, most refreshing, and one of the most easy beverages to make. Boulder has been pretty sweltering this week. So, last night I pulled out the stops and made a big batch of this yummy pink stuff for the hub and I.

All you do is throw some ice, a little bit of water, and fresh watermelon chunks into a blender and blend away. You can top it off with fresh mint from your garden or if you are wanting to make it a bit more interesting add some tequila or vodka:) Enjoy!

This week is all about catching up for D and I! After traveling to New York, the wedding party, my brothers graduation, and having visitors all through out the month we are ready for some down time.

I am really bathing in the feeling of not having any orders right now! I get to paint and work on big projects like blankets and last night I even started my first top! So excited for crochet clothes.

P.S. it seems there has been an issue with pinning images from manzanita. I am trying to figure it out, but in the mean time the pin it button right below each post seems to be working fine!

awesome, I don't normally like watermelon alone, but it is really refreshing. Last summer I made "watermelon granita" I definitely recommend it if you haven't tried it yet!

Oh man, sounds amazing! Watermelons are SO good. My boyfriend and I just finished eating some watermelon our friends gave us, and it pretty much cools the body. It's been crazy hot here in FL, so we're planning on getting more this weekend. Also, crochet clothes are fun! You make such beautiful things on your blog and your store.
