Rose stud earrings are such a subtle and pretty accessory and now you can make them yourself! I used Fimo soft polymer clay and baked it for 30 mins at 230 degrees. I would say the hardest part of this project is to get two studs to look enough a like to be a pair. It will take a few tries, but stick with it!
You can make these in any size big or small, just keep in mind that the bigger they are the bigger your earring backing should be so they don't sag on your earlobe.
The little ditty I am singing in the video is one of my favorites and I can't seem to ever get this part out of my head. You can hear the actual song here.

P.S. it seems there has been an issue with pinning images from manzanita. I am trying to figure it out, but in the mean time the pin it button right below each post seems to be working fine!

That's a good idea. Thanks for explaining the process and showing us those pictures of the end result.
I remember when I was younger and I would use different materials to make earrings. Then, you didn't see many people transferring art to their ears and their hands. Nowadays, things are different. You see stained glass artists incorporating stained glass into earrings and watercolor artists using their work in necklaces.
It's a change for the better and will lead to more uniqueness and creativity in jewelry.

Oh, these are lovely! :) What a great idea, too - I just found some turquoise roses thrifting the other day, but I never thought to make em myself!
